How does remote bookkeeping work?

Remote bookkeeping is as easy as 1-2-3!

  1. You send us the paperwork. Uploading it to Verifyle, our portal, is the best and most secure method.

  2. We process the information.

  3. We deliver the completed financial statements back to you.

What is Verifyle

Verifyle is the portal that we use. It is a safe and secure way to transfer documents, safer then email. You can upload and download from Verifyle. Identity Theft, also known as Identity Fraud, has become a greater risk than ever before. Portals help reduce that risk.

How can I send in my documents?

The most secure way to send the paperwork is to upload it to Verifyle. You can also use Drop Box or Google Drive. But, you can also send any documents by fax or mail.

When can I expect my financial statements to be completed and returned?

If you get all the information to us by the 10th of the month, we will get the financial statements back to you by the 20th.

Do you maintain bookkeeping more frequently than once a month?

We have the Quintessential Plan, which includes weekly maintenance of your records. We use QuickBooks Online, which allows you 24/7 access to download or review anytime you want. This package also comes with: automatic bank and credit card transactions downloaded, unlimited bank account and credit card reconciliations, direct deposit payroll preparation, and bill pay service.

Do you offer customized services?

We can customize a plan that will work just for you. Giving you a personalized service is a specialty of ours. Please make an appointment to discuss how we can best serve you and your business.

How much will this cost?

Our prices start as little as $250 per month. Click here to see a list of our plans and prices.

When is payment due?

For the Enterprise and Classic plans, we will automatically charge your credit/debit card on the 10th of each month after the month we are processing the books. For example, August bookkeeping is charged on September 10th.

For the Quintessential plan, we will automatically charge your credit or debit card on the first of the month that we are processing the bookkeeping. For example, August bookkeeping is charged on August 1st.

What if I need additional services outside the original plan?

We have additional services that you can add on to any of our plans. Click here to see a list of common add-ons. If what you need is not included in our service list, don't fear. We can take care of other items as well. Just make an appointment so we can discuss what it is that you need to have done.

What software do you use?

For the Enterprise and Classic plans, we use QuickBooks Desktop. If you are currently using QBD, we download your most current file, and continue where you left off. If you haven't been using QBD, there will be a set-up fee.

For the Quintessential plan, we use QuickBooks Online. If you have been using QBO, then all you need to do is add Cynthia@tgbusiness-tax.com as an accountant, and Cynthia Glassman will receive an email with a link to your file. It is that easy. If you have not been using QBO, there will be a set-up fee.

What other Apps do you use and recommend?

We use several programs to assist with the day-day workings of business:  QuickBooks Online and Desktop version, QuickBooks Time to track time, Melio for bill Payment services, Gusto for payroll, Stride to track your miles, and SaasAnt for uploading spreadsheets to QuickBooks.
